A Song honoring #montemelkonian. Our upper grade students had the incredible privilege of performing in honor of Comdr Monte Melkonian. His journey, like ours, began outside Armenia in the California Central Valley, but his heart always beat for his homeland.
We also had the honor of meeting his remarkable wife, Seta, who continues to carry forward his legacy of dedication and love for Armenia and Artsakh.
Monte’s life is a testament to the power of giving back, no matter where you’re from. He was born in the diaspora but gave his all for his homeland. His story reminds us that no act of service is too small, and every effort counts.
Remember, even if you’re born outside your homeland, your roots run deep, and your homeland is always yours. Let’s use Monte Melkonian’s inspiring example to fuel our own commitment to making a positive impact, no matter how big or small, for the place we call home. #montemelkonian #artsakhstrong #artsakh #armenia #diaspora ...

A perfect example of why we love our little village. Our amazing community. One of our classrooms was in need of urgent flooring repairs, so this group of incredible @ckacs dads got to school at 10:00pm last night and worked hard til 2:00am to make sure it was safe for the kiddos to return to their classroom in the morning. If you see any of these guys on campus, give them a *gentle* high five or maybe a big smile 😉, they pulled out thousands of staples, individually, by hand and are very sore this morning (see the last photo).
**This is temporary solution until the contractor can get to work. New flooring will be professionally replaced throughout the whole classroom.** ...

The CLOVIS FIRE DEPARTMENT came to CKACS this morning to fix the United States flag.
Due to the recent storm It was quite tattered and would not come down because it was twisted around the pole next to it. The Clovis fire department used their truck and brave skills to help our school restore the flag to the appropriate display.
Students enjoyed watching the work of the firemen!
Thank you CLOVIS FIRE DEPARTMENT! ...
